This year our annual bike meeting will be held around the beautiful and bicycle friends town of Ferrara, in Emilia Romagna region.
Thre will be several different places where guests can stay: from camping, hostels, gym rooms and three or four stars hotels.
Naturalistic areas and typical food like the world famous bread will be the pièce de résistance of the meeting. All itineraries are completely flat.

Program:

Thursday 20th June
Morning - arrivals and institutional greeting from authorities.
Afternoon - “Lucrezia’s Land” Ferrara’s Countryside and lunch to the farm “Le Pradine”. 40 kms

Friday 21st - Bike + Train to the wildlife reservation of the delta of the Po, the biggest Italian river.
Morning - Visit to the Mesola wood, the 8th century abbey of Pomposa, Volano Pine wood. Lunch by Romea’s Beach.
Afternnon - visit the charming small town of Comacchio with its extraordinary eels fishing museum and herons, cranes and storks wild area in Ostellato. Return in Ferrara by train. Choice of 40 or 60 kms long itineraries.

Saturday 22nd - The big River.
Pedalling along the new beautiful bike path along the southern banks of the Po river, visiting mediaeval water mills, kilns and ancient small towns. Choice of 70 or 125 kms long itineraries.

Sunday 23rd - Ferrara, renaissance town.
Two itineraries, renaissance and mediaeval tour of the city with its perfect preserved city walls and visits of the “Estense” Castle, Diamond’s Palace and other wonderful civilian and religious buildings.
